Avid readers can hit the stacks for bargains during the Sultan Friends of the Library’s annual fall used-books sale on Saturday, Sept. 15.

The book sale provides a variety of books for all ages and interests, with the goal of providing additional funding to support programs and services at the Sultan branch of Sno-Isle Libraries, including toddler story times, summer programs and job-finding support for adults.

The used-book sale runs 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 15 in the Sultan City Hall/Library Community Room on the corner of Fourth and Main streets. The bag sale, where people pay $5 for a grocery bag-worth of books, starts at 2 p.m.
