6:39 p.m. — Police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 14700 block of Chain Lake Road.


9:43 p.m. — Mail was reported stolen in the 17200 block of 157th Street Southeast.


9:57 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a domestic violence charge in the 15200 block of 176th Drive Southeast.


Sunday, Aug. 5


1:41 a.m. — Police responded to the 19700 block of State Route 2 for a man causing a continuing disturbance. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.


5:23 p.m. — Police arrested a woman for shoplifting in the 14700 block of Chain Lake Road.


7:12 p.m. — Police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 14700 block of Chain Lake Road.


11:33 p.m. — Police arrested a man on a domestic violence charge in the 18900 block of State Route 2.


Monday, Aug. 6


9:44 a.m. — The sheriff’s office contacted a male suspect in a Monroe domestic violence case in the 21600 block of 87th Avenue Southeast. He was taken into custody after a short foot chase, and Monroe officers booked him into jail.


4:44 p.m. — The sunroof on a vehicle in the 300 block of Columbia Street was broken, but nothing was reported stolen from inside.


Tuesday, Aug. 7


6:26 a.m. — A semi-truck struck the railroad crossing arm in the 13800 block of Fryelands Boulevard and fled the scene. The damage caused train stoppage.


7:34 a.m. — A driver suffering from medical issues reportedly caused several collisions at State Route 2 and Chain Lake Road. The driver was transported to the hospital.


10:25 p.m. — A 1999 Honda Civic was reported stolen in the 17400 block of West Main Street Southeast.

11:39 a.m. — An abandoned vehicle in the 200 block of East Main Street was impounded.


Thursday, Aug. 9


8:40 a.m. — Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 18600 block of Blueberry Lane Southeast.


10:08 a.m. — An iPhone was reported stolen in the 800 block of West Main Street.


9:43 p.m. — A 2006 Honda CRV left overnight in a parking lot in the 19600 block of State Route 2 was reported stolen.
